CDT (Capital Defense Training)

Introducing...Capital Defense Training! My stud of a husband Steven and his brother Rick have started a company called...you guessed it...Capital Defense Training, or CDT. They have been working so hard every day, and sometimes nights to get this company up and rolling. It's been quite an adventure waiting for this and that to be completed so the company could start really becoming successful, but now that their biggest project is done I think Steven will start sleeping more soundly at nights. Their biggest project being a training video they have had put together. See, the company is basically a compilation of training programs from "Weapons of Opportunity" a class that teaches you how to use just about anything as a weapon, to "Advanced Pistol Defense" which teaches you how to confidently use a pistol for defense in a tense situation. All taught by a very qualified retired marine who fought in Iraq, Sgt. John Luthy. They're goal is to educate and train law abiding citizens in ways that will more enable them to protect themselves and their families. A pretty noble field to be in if I might say so myself. See http://www.cdtus.com/ for more info. The training video covers "Advanced Pistol Defense" with more training videos on other courses to come. I might be a tad bit biased but I have to say that the demo video (which was put together promoting the actual training video) alone is AWESOME!! I've attached a link to it so you can take a look. And you definitely should...you won't regret it.
After watching that, if anybody else is like me and is interested in being trained by this guy so YOU can sleep more soundly at night (especially if you're ever home alone, which is usually when I get the most freaked out) let me know.

Happy Fathers' Day!!

This is a few days late, but I wanted to acknowledge my wonderful husband Steven on his very first Fathers' Day! It was a good day! Cody and I let Dad sleep in, and when he woke up, Cody had a Fathers' Day card ready to give him with his hand print on it. Daddy loved it! After making some breakfast burritos, Daddy went to church. (Cody and I stayed home since we're sick AGAIN!) After church we went to Uncle Rick and Aunt Valerie's house for dinner with the Andersons. After that we went to a concert in the park. A lot of the Dallin clan was there along with my Grandpa. It was great! After that, we went to my Grandpa Dallin's house for cake and ice cream, and that's where we were when Cody was playing with that fun toy with his second cousin once removed, or whateve she is, Maggie. She's my cousin Katie's little girl. Isn't she cute!?! She's just a few weeks older than Cody. All in all it was a great day!

Cody's Crawling!

Okay, so Cody's been crawling for over a month now, and I'm just barely getting to blogging it. Does anybody else ever feel like they never get anything done? Anyway, I'm so proud of my big boy! Crawling at seven months old! What a stud! This is a video of him crawling last Friday. Enjoy!

Baby Holden!

My parents, Steven, Cody, and I went to St. George this last weekend because my sister was induced on the 30th. So we were there to help with cleaning and meals and her other 3 kids while she had little baby Holden. It was a lot of fun. A really good trip! He is absolutely adorable...and doesn't my sister look stinkin' good for just having had a baby! How does she do that!?! Anyway, I can't wait to see him again! He's only 7 months younger than Cody, so I think they'll be good friends. They'll be in the same grade and everything, so that will be fun. Anyway, here are some pictures of the little cutie...I can't believe how small they are when they're brand new!
