"YANGON, Myanmar - At least 15,000 people were killed in the Myanmar cyclone and the toll was likely to rise as officials made contact with the worst-hit areas, the military government's foreign minister said on Tuesday."

I just thought it appropriate that I do a post about what's going on in Myanmar right now. I think it's hard for us in our comfortable every day lives to really comprehend what these people are going through. I know it's hard for me. But I try to imagine what it would be like to, I don't know, have lost Steven in the cyclone maybe and to be living in a small shelter with an enormous amount of people with little food, little water, no power, and to have Cody there with me. I try to imagine what he would be going through. An innocent little thing that hasn't seen anything even close to this kind of tragedy. I understandably can't think about it for too long because of the depression that surrounds me when I try to really put myself in that position. Well, that's what these people are going through right now. It may be hard to imagine, but it's true. It is their actual reality. Anyway, my whole point to this is that I just wanted to throw out a reminder to all who are willing, to say a prayer in behalf of these people. On top of praying for the people, pray that the government will become humble enough to accept real help from the international community. If anyone knows of anything going on in OUR community to help, please let me know.
