Since Proposition 8 has been an extremely heated subject amongst many lately, I feel (after much thought and contemplation) that it is my duty to share this article with all of you. Please know that this is in no way an attempt to undermine anybody and/or their beliefs, or to offend, it is simply what the LDS church states about this proposition and same-sex marriage in general, and so is what I believe to be true. I found this article because I wanted to get a clearer view on exactly what the church says about this subject. I sought to educate myself, and found this article to be extremely insightful and upfront. It is pretty long, but so worth reading because of the knowledge it brings on how the church stands and why.
