What a fun Easter!

We had such a fun Easter this year. It really helped that the weather was so nice. I love this time of year but really hate that we don't see much of Steven, so Fall is definitely my favorite. But there is definitely something to be said about Spring. It's such a refreshing time of year! I just love it! And Easter really makes it all that much more exciting. Anyway, that being said, here are some fun pictures from all the fun events surrounding Easter.



My brother and his wife put together a little easter egg coloring activity with the kids and I'm so glad they did. I really don't think I would've done it otherwise, but it was so fun to see the kids, Cody especially, decorate eggs and have a lot of fun. So, thank you Jake and Rachel

The kids and I went to a local Easter celebration, and it was so much fun! They had bounce houses...

One thing I really like to do for Easter is to instill in Cody's mind the real reason we celebrate it. Well, I was in Walmart a few days before Easter and saw this cartoon called "He Is Risen". It was such a good way to show Cody the true reason we have Easter because he absolutely LOVES it. I was very excited about that! Now every time I ask him why we celebrate Easter he tells me it's because Jesus came back to life, and we can too some day. It's a beautiful thing to hear your child say that, even if he doesn't totally comprehend it quite yet. :)
