November 15th was mine and Steven's 7th Anniversary. We went and saw A Christmas Carol, which was awesome, and then went out to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant. Yum! It was a simple outing, but since we don't get to do dinner and a movie that often anymore, it was a real treat!
Our Story:
Almost eight years ago now, Steven and I met for the first time. It was in May of 2002. I was working at a Greenhouse. It was the really busy season so Steven was helping them out one day since he's really good friends with the owners. We eyed each other and it was all over after that. Love at first sight, you could say. :) He asked me out and we went out to dinner and to a hypnotist show. I remember thinking that it was probably the best date I'd ever been on. It was so easy to talk to him, and there was just something different about him. However, when he dropped me off, he walked me to my doorSTEPS, not even all the way to the door, and said, "Well, maybe I'll see you on Monday". Not something you want to here after an amazing first date. I thought for sure that he wasn't interested after all. Monday came and he walked in to grab his paycheck. I had some plants I was taking out to my car. It was pretty obvious I didn't need help with it, but he offered anyway. Sure enough, while helping me, he asked me out again. That was a shock! We went on our second date that night and we were inseparable from then on. It was only 3 weeks later that I wrote in my journal that I was pretty sure he was the man I was going to marry. I never, in my wildest dreams, imagined that I would ever be one of those girls that "just knew", but I was. Surprise surprise. When you know about something that certainly, why wait. Steven felt the same way. We got engaged 4 short months after our first date, and married 2 months after that, and I couldn't be happier! I couldn't ask for a better companion. He is an amazing husband and father. I am so grateful to have him in my life. Happy Anniversary Steven!

What's your favorite Mexican food restaurant, BTW?
You look so pretty.
Chellese, it's Los Hermanos! We always get the chicken fajitas. They are to die for!
Congrats... thats a long time:)
Great pics of you two!! And I'm so glad to hear your story. When you know, you know, right?! I think I got parts here and there before, but I was on the mish and missed a lot of this. Happy anniversary!
